In February 2004, Jay and I
visited Wilmington, NC, which is where I went to college. We drove
around town and saw several sites including the Battleship USS North
Carolina, my University, Cape Fear River park, Wrightsville Beach, and
others. Wilmington has a lot of history and I'd advise any
visitors to take the paddle boat tour, walking tour, or the carriage
tour.
Wilmington has also been a town
where movies and tv series are frequently shot. To name a few, the
TV show Dawson's Creek was primarily shot in Wilmington. Some of
the scenes from the movie The Crow were filmed in Wilmington as well.
In fact, Brandon Lee was actually killed in Wilmington while filming the
movie, The Crow.
