The first 7
pictures are from the pool deck of our hotel in Charleston, SC. The
hotel was called Shem Creek Inn. It's absolutely beautiful.
Each room has a private balcony. Very clean, very very impressive.
One side of the hotel overlooks the Creek. You can see boats tied up
along the dock. The other side of the hotel overlooks the marshes.
You can see part of the air craft carrier at Patriot's Point from there
too. The outside pool turned into a large "bird bath". The
Seagulls and other area birds were swimming in the pool while we ate
breakfast. I couldn't get a picture of them in the water, but
they're wandering around the deck in some photos.
The rest of these
photo's were taken in Wilmington, NC and Wrightsville Beach, NC area.
We approached one of the draw bridges when it was up, but by the time I
could get a clear picture, it was part way down. Photo is shown
below though. Some of the final pictures are from the University of
North Carolina at Wilmington, which is where I went to college.
They're doing a ton of construction on campus. Two new buildings are
up and they're building or renovating several more. Impressive.
This concludes the
pictures from our trip. We had a blast!
