As we mentioned
on our opening page, the Howe Extreme website was originally launched
for our dirt modified race team. You can

During June of
2006, Jay and I packed up and moved from Ohio to the Coastal Carolina's.
We now call Beaufort, South Carolina "home sweet home". The area
is absolutely beautiful. Charleston, SC is about an hour North of
us and Savannah, GA is about 45 minutes to our South. The popular
tourist island of Hilton Head is about 5 miles (by sea) from the Island
we live on, but it's about 45 minutes to get there by road!
Jay and I have
been enjoying the gorgeous Hunting Island State Park with the
lighthouse, beaches, and fishing pier. It's incredibly relaxing to
take a nice walk on the beach and then watch the sunset from the pier as
the dolphins jump in the bay. It's an amazing place.
We love taking
drives up and down the Coast to visit Charleston or Savannah. The
history in this area is incredible. We watched the fireworks
display at Patriots Point, where they shoot the fireworks off the front
deck of an Aircraft Carrier. It gives me chills just thinking
about it.
Since we've
moved to SC, we've put our racing program on hold. We'll continue
to bring you pictures and stories of things going on in our lives, so
please keep checking back. Besides...you never know...you might
see Jay back on the racetrack in a Modified one of these days! |
